Bob has been a thought leader in data science and analytics for over 25 years and founded Analytic Strategy Partners LLC in 2016. He is the Managing Partner.

From 2002-2015, he was the Founder and Managing Partner of Open Data Group, which was one of the pioneers scaling predictive analytics to large datasets. In 2016, Open Data Group transitioned to a product company, changed its name to ModelOp. From 1996 to 2001, he was the Founder and CEO of Magnify, which is now part of Lexis-Nexis (RELX Group).

He is also a faculty member at the University of Chicago, where he is the Frederick H. Rawson Distinguished Service Professor of Medicine and Computer Science and the Jim and Karen Frank Director of the Center for Translational Data Science.
